Real Milk Paint Outdoor Additive 
Outdoor Additive is a finely milled borate compound that can be added to Real Milk Paint to enhance exterior use on surfaces such as wood, concrete, brick, and stucco. Outdoor Additive should not be used over existing paint, previous paint coatings should be removed first. 
Real Milk Paint does not blister or peel like modern paint. It’s an ideal wood paint for furniture and outdoor paint for wood that can be used to achieve an antique look on period style items. It blocks tannins from leaching through the wood which can cause paint stains. Outdoor additive stops excessive moisture from developing, which can cause paint to go musty over time. 
Simply add the entire container of Outdoor Additive to 1 Gallon of Milk Paint. To improve water resistance add a topcoat of Real Milk Paint Outdoor Defense Oil.

STAIN RESISTANT – Outdoor Additive for wood finishing blocks tannin stains from coming through the paint on woods like cedar and knotty pine. Inhibits excess moisture from developing on paint.
FLAME RETARDANT – Helps to control the spread of flames and inhibits UV light from destabilizing paint film on exterior paint.
